Our range of sealants include a carefully selected range of products, which we have picked on our journey to providing quality floor sanding services. These products have come aboard and stayed because we have applied them, we have maintained them, we have tested them against busy premises and we have returned years, later to do the same again.
We and their manufacturer have proved these products deserve to be on every home and office floor.
Bona Mega Lacquer
Bona Mega is the flagship product of Bona's range of wood floor finishes for domestic use. It is a single component, low odour and low VOC product coming in extra matt, matt, satin and gloss sheens. If looking for a product with less sheen, Bona Mega ExtraMatt will offer zero reflection, compared to Junckers Strong UltraMatt, which has a minimum but some sheen.
Bona Traffic HD Lacquer
Bona Traffic HD is the new Bona's improved commercial grade formula for use in premises with high traffic and shoe traffic. It is a two-component, low odour and low VOC product coming in ExtraMatt, Matt and Satin.
Junckers Strong Lacquer
Junckers Strong is one of the most popular floor finishes in London - it offers excellent durability for a single pack product, low odour low VOC. This lacquer comes in UltraMatt, Matt, Satin and Gloss.
Junckers HP Commercial Lacquer
Junckers HP Commercial is top hardwearing sealant for use on wooden floors for public and business use. Tested and proved, this popular product has earned a solid place in the line of durable finishes. It comes in UltraMatt, Matt, Satin and Gloss.
Junckers HP One Lacquer
This product from Junckers released in 2013 comes as a response to the competition in quick drying sealant and finishes and here Junckers is a step forward. Junckers HP One offers the same durability as HP Commercial and is available in all standard sheens - UltraMatt, Matt, Satin and Gloss. This product, however, offers better convenience by being a single product.
The Primers
Primers are sealants that contain fewer solids and offer longer and better opening time during coating, providing a good spread of finish and at the same addressing certain issues, which specific to the desired effect or the timber of wood species.
Although priming on some species is not compuslory, Bona Prime and Junckers Prelak go as first coat on all of our floor restoration services. It is compulsory for darker timbers and timbers, which may be causing quicker drying of lacquer.
To twist the colour to a deeper and richer shade, we may use Bona Prime Amber or if we are looking achieve the opposite, pale shade we may consider going for Junckers Prelak White.
Osmo Hardwax-Oil
Osmo has earned a reputation among oil based finishes for their complete range of oil products with various applications. Osmo Polyx is the product on our shelves and in our client's floors. Unlike some other products, Polyx comes in two sheens - Matt and Satin.
