After the fireplace hearth is removed, we will restitch the parquet flooring. Once sanded and revarnished, the floors will have a uniform appearance, making it look as if the fireplace was never there.

  Our sanding and oiling service includes 2 coats of clear hardwax-oil or 1 coat of colour oil followed by 1 coat of clear oil. Ocassionally we can increase the number of coats depending on the timber species we are sealing.

• Is gap filling covered by your Service Guarantee?

  Gap filling with saw-dust and rasin filler on floorboards is exempt from our Service Guarantee.

  While working on the surface of your floors during floorboards sanding / repairs we endeavour to make every effort to increase its solidness, before proceeding with the gap filling. It is in fact the solidness of the floor boards, as well as the condition of its support (joists) that will define the durability of the gap filling, not the quality of the product we use or our service.
